vboc_newlogoAmy Amoroso is the Director for Veteran Business Outreach NY/NJ located at the Arsenal Business & Technology Partnership, Watervleit Arsenal. Amy assists our veterans, service members and military spouses with starting, buying or expanding any business. She also teaches a Boots to Business program aimed at our service members transitioning out of the military and into entrepreneurship. She currently teaches at West Point, Navy Base Saratoga, Fort Hamilton, Watervliet Arsenal and Fort Dix.

Amy is actively involved with the Tech Valley Chamber Coalition. She is a Board Member of U.M.A.C (United Military Affairs Council) and is the Co-Chair of their Marketing Committee. She is also a board member of the Schenectady Business Advocacy Committee, and is and Advisory Board Member of Peaceful Acres Horses Rescue located in Pattersonville, NY as well as a Building Committee Member of the Montgomery County SPCA.  Amy currently Co-hosts a local TV Show Santabarbara Now, the Veterans Project, aired over public access which highlights veterans in our communities and is a writer for www.smallbizclub.com on all NYS veteran business related issues. Amy has a bill currently in legislation that will secure State Procurement opportunities for Veteran Business Owners. Amy has also partnered with the Watervliet Arsenal’s Arsenal Business and Technology Partnership in creating the Michael R. McNulty Center for Veteran Entrepreneurial Activity which hosts monthly Veteran to Veteran Networking Meetings.  In addition, Amy currently owns her own small business.
